Wake up and draw

I woke up and saw the light illuminating the bottom of the blinds in our room so I did my best to capture my bedpost in silhouette against the morning sun shone blinds and in doing so realized how crowded my computer/ workstation is. I cropped most of it out but it was important to the composition to frame the window between my dresser and desk. Also most of the color is on one side of the sketch which incidentally illustrates how it feels gray and colorless when I have to slave away with digital medium instead of field sketching like I enjoy. I just think this sketch was outside of what I usually do and was a good opportunity for me to get out my prisma markers. Which I never use because they are in my room and I am always out exploring and roaming around with my sketchbook.
